At Dotti Potts we only use good quality mid fired porcelain clay. The reason for using this type of clay is because it makes the pieces of pottery strong and durable. Porcelain is also extremely chip resistant and will take the knocks of every day use. All pottery may be used in dishwashers and microwave ovens. The raised dots on the pieces will not fall off as they are fused to the clay body and colours will not fade.
